Six months ago, I watched Claude complete in 3 minutes what used to take me 3 hours. It wasn’t just faster — it was better. More accurate, more creative, more comprehensive. In that moment, I realized that everything I’d been taught about career security was already obsolete.

But here’s what happened next that changed everything: Claude couldn’t explain why its output was brilliant. It couldn’t adapt it to the client’s unspoken concerns. It couldn’t navigate the political dynamics of getting the idea implemented. It couldn’t build the relationships necessary to make the solution stick.

The AI had replaced my technical skills, but it had made my human skills exponentially more valuable.
