In this piece, I would like to invite you to dream about your life after Coronavirus lockdown.
Imagine that the risk of the virus has completely disappeared.
You are back to your normal life.
What are the things that you would like to do?
Make a list of all activities you would like to take up.
Are there things that you have missed doing?
Are there new things you would like to give a try?
You can also visualise and dream about your days after lockdown.
You can prefer some doodles or drawings or a concept map — as you wish.
This would take about 10 minutes. All you need is a white page and a pen or pencil.
In the second part of the activity, you will write a letter to yourself under lockdown.
Imagine that you are back to normal.
What would your future self tell your current self?
How would your future self provide encouragement, support, and morale?
How would your future self advise you regarding being more creative, productive, and positive at home?
Please write your letter.
Again, this would take about 10 minutes. All you need is a fresh page and a pen or pencil.
I hope you enjoy these small activities and they will help you think broader about your lockdown experiences and beyond.
