Imagine that you will not have any access to the Internet, TV, mobile phone, or any media this upcoming Sunday.

You will need to find alternative activities that will revitalize you or excite you.

How can you find joy and interest in activities that are away from your devices and screens?

In this exercise, you will be thinking of 8 alternative activities that are still fascinating or refreshing for you.

These can be:

  • Writing in your diary
  • Reading a fiction book
  • Gardening
  • DIY work
  • Knitting or craftwork
  • Daydreaming
  • Drawing or painting
  • Solving crossword puzzles or sudoku
  • Playing board games with your family
  • Swimming
  • Walking or hiking in nature
  • Doing imagination experiments
  • Organizing or cleaning or renovating your house
  • Doing a picnic or a barbecue
  • Doing exercise or yoga

Try to include a mix of 8 different activities that will help you design your day.

Try to include a diverse range of ideas.

Please also include at least 1 activity that you have never tried before.

Are you ready?

In our lives, we are glued to our screens and devices for very long hours every day.

We need to give a mental break.

Why not use this as an opportunity to give a break and go offline?

Towards a more calm and mindful life;
