Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is a Barbadian singer, actress, businesswoman, and philanthropist. She was born in 1988 in Saint Michael, Barbados. Rihanna is regarded as one of the most successful and influential figures in the music industry of the 21st century.

Rihanna’s musical career began in 2005 when she was discovered by American record producer Evan Rogers while auditioning for him in Barbados. Rogers immediately recognized Rihanna’s talent and signed her to his production company, SRP Records. In 2005, Rihanna released her debut album, “Music of the Sun,” which was followed by her second album, “A Girl like Me” in 2006.

In 2007, Rihanna released her third and most successful album to date, “Good Girl Gone Bad.” The album featured hit singles such as “Umbrella,” “Shut Up and Drive,” and “Don’t Stop the Music,” which propelled her to global fame and cemented her status as a pop icon. Since then, Rihanna has released several more critically acclaimed albums, won multiple Grammy Awards, and sold over 250 million records worldwide.
